Each individual Embroidery PDF guide includes:
- Up to18 pages of thorough instructions in English, which will take you step by step through all the stitches you need, and where to use them!
- Photographs and diagrams to help guide you through
- The Embroidery pattern outline for transferring onto fabric for use in a 6-inch hoop
- A list of all the tools and materials you will need to stitch your mushrooms
- A simple method for backing and finishing your hoop

In order to stitch this design you will also need (not included with this download product):
- A 6-inch embroidery hoop
- Cotton Fabric
- Fyberspates Luxury Embroidery Thread (or similar)
- Embroidery or Yarn needle
- A fabric pen or pencil for transferring your design

These patterns have been created in collaboration with Fyberspates Luxury Embroidery Thread.

Can I use DMC or regular cotton stranded thread? Yes - these patterns can be stitched using a regular 6 stranded cotton thread but the instructions are specific to the Fyberspates thread which is more like a yarn. You would need to use your own judgement to adjust.

Every stitch forces you to slow down and be in the moment. It keeps your hands and mind busy, and if you make a mistake, it’s easy to correct.

Embroidery came into my life when I needed it most, right at the beginning of the lockdown. When my anxiety was sky high, I found a craft that could distract from the never-ending news cycle when nothing else could. I know ‘mindful’ is a word thrown around a lot, but as someone who has never managed to meditate, I know that embroidery can provide the respite so many desperately need.
